Who is Eligible?

If you live in an area with deregulated power in the State of Texas, you can use Watt2Choose. Deregulated areas use one of these Transmission and Delivery Service Providers (TDSP):

• Oncor
• TNMP
• Centerpoint
• AEP Texas Central Company (CPL)
• AEP Texas North Company (WTU)
• Sharyland

Electricity customers in areas serviced by SWEPCO, any electrical co-op, or an aggregated municipality, are not eligible to change electricity providers.

If you aren’t sure, enter your address and ESI ID and we will determine whether you qualify for power choice.
